Hesston LB2200 Series large square balers feature advanced technologies to help you achieve maximum potential. The ProCut™ rotary cutter option forces material through stationary knives for a more precise cut with higher capacity and simplified serviceability. Every aspect of the Hesston LB2200 Series was designed to ensure productivity and reliability. The entire design starts and ends with maximizing your ROI as the goal. The Hesston LB2200 Series utilizes chain drives with the highest quality roller chain on the market for the majority of the power transfer. Roller chains give you less downtime and easy repairs when needed. The Hesston LB2200 Series is our most advanced large square baler to date, yet its roots still run deep. The heart of the baler is the Hesston-designed double knotter that has been in use since 1978. Its durability is proven over decades. The pick-up on the Hesston LB2200 Series features a new five-tine bar pick-up reel and a lighter weight wrapper made from polypropylene with a highly durable material. This new design allows faster ground speed, increased performance and smoother operatio The Hesston LB2200 Series pre-forms each flake in a pre-compression chamber before moving it to the plunger to create dense, consistent bales. The knotters are constantly lubricated by an oil-based autolube system, reducing maintenance time. The cycle is fully automatic and controlled by the Datatronic 5 terminal. This Hesston-built rotor cutter upgrade forces crop material through stationary knives for higher capacity and more efficient cutter baling. The Hesston LB2200 Series maximizes capacity by pulling crop from the pick-up with revolving packer forks and positively feeding it into the pre-compression chamber. Our double knotter system maintains that perfect bale after it leaves the chamber, through transport, and all the way to its destination. With the separate pre-compression chamber and auto bale density control, there are no surprises or windrow size worries – just tight, dense bales. All Hesston by Massey Ferguson LB2200 Series models feature on-board hydraulics for easier hookup while eliminating the hydraulic system variables that can affect baler performance.
